Nature Based Curriculum
Our outdoor environments are large open spaces where children can explore nature and all its wonder. Filled with loose parts and opportunities for children to get messy, we believe in spaces that honour the natural world and allows for children to get hands on, use real tools and be part of the construction of their learning spaces.
Acknowledging the fragile state of our world, our programs support children in a nature based curriculum that builds awareness of their footprint on our earth.
Children learn best when they follow their own curiosities, so we encourage this with a seamless use of our indoor and outdoor spaces – all day, every day.
This means we play in all weather (we just change what we wear when we’re out).
In the spirit of respect, Kardinia Childcare and Kindergarten recognises the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia as the Traditional Custodians of the Land. We pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past, present and future.
Kardinia Early Learning are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. Our service has a zero tolerance to child abuse and are committed to providing safe, respectful and trusting environments for all.
